This section of the park is located in the Dommeldange district of Luxembourg City.
Using a handheld 3D scanner, I captured elements of the scene, including rocks, pavement tiles, a bench, and part of a tree. The amount of data obtained for processing and generating a workable result was substantial. Initially, I chose not to use the original scanner texture, aiming to achieve a distinct color layout. The difference between the outcome and the original can be observed in the attached photos. I solely used the scanner texture as a reference. The registered data was employed to create a mesh, facilitating geometric adjustments. The result is a high-polygon model that preserves all the details of the original but allows for UV mapping and texture editing. To visually distinguish materials, I created the final textures by manipulating PBR materials.
