This is a half-meter statue of the Wolf from Tolstoy's fairy tales.
Сapturing the scene with a semi-professional camera and utilizing 70 photos for the reconstruction process in Agisoft Metashape. In the workflow, Lightroom was employed for photo preparation, Agisoft Metashape for reconstructing the polygonal model, and Zbrush along with 3ds Max for refining the mesh by addressing defects and imperfections. The subsequent step involved texture creation. For the Wolf model, the decision was made not to simplify the mesh but to create a new topology and project textures onto the model with the correct grid. The advantages of this approach included easier work with UV mapping and final textures. To enhance visual impact, Substance Painter was used to create PBR materials, incorporating specific features for each material in the scene, such as stone, paint, and snow. This method significantly improved the realism of the scene.
