Hydrant

This is a 3D model of a working fire hydrant on a street in Palo Alto, CA. A quite common sight in this fire-prone, drought-prone part of America.
The goal was to obtain a clean mesh from the scan data, eliminating all defects that may occur during the registration and transformation process when converting the data from the 3D scanner into a polygonal mesh during data processing.
